Did you know...Did you know you can request a class or workshop for your kids, school, friends or workplace? During these times making art can be a great way to work together and be together. Recently a friend reached out to me and asked if I would be able to create a 6 week animation workshop for his son and some friends. So I put it all together and we reached out to people and are now in the middle of the series. It has been a great way for the kids to see each other and work on projects and get feedback.
I have also been doing watercolor classes for workplaces as a means of team building. It is so amazing to work with so many people who often have never tried watercoloring in their adult life. It is kind of magical! In some cases it is like a whole new world has opened up and they are so happy to discover this new experience.
These can take place as a single class or a workshop series. Supply kits for classes are also available.
Try this...Blind Contour Drawing...
1. Take a piece of paper and tape it down to a surface
2. Look at someone, something or use your hand as a model
3. Draw your subject without looking at your paper. Let your eyes travel around the subject and draw exactly what you are looking at. But the key is: DO NOT look at you paper until you are done!
Why do this?
